Six Catalan R+D technological centers (Ascamm, Barcelona Digital, Barcelona Media, Cetemmsa, CTM and Leitat) have joined efforts and have created the Catalan Technology Alliance Foundation (Fundació Aliança Tecnològica de Catalunya), a project aimed at improving their competitiveness and at generating better business opportunities for these companies. These technological centers, with nearly 500 employees, have had growth rates of 20% to 30% in the last few years and their present total revenue is reaching 44.7 million euros.
