Volkswagen-owned Spanish car maker SEAT, that in March 2011 announced that by 2012 its cars would be selling in China, is already fulfilling its goal. According to Europa Press, 250 SEAT León cars produced in the Martorell factory (Barcelona province) are already on its way to China by sea with destination to the Guangzhou and Tianjin ports. A similar shipment is expected every month or five weeks, approximately, and SEAT expects to sell some 3,500 cars/year in China, starting on March or April.
